We thought it would be a good idea to let you know what the moderator principles are in relation to you. As we've said before as members we really don't expect anything more from you than having your company and enjoying your posts. But we thought it might be a good idea to clear a few things up.
1. We appreciate and respect each and every member on the forum. We love having you here and a forum is only as good as it's members. And we feel extremely lucky about the members we have.
2. We try to moderate fairly, unbiasedly and appropriately at all times. We aren't going to just remove or edit your posts for no reason but if we feel that you have posted something that breaks one of our
Rules then we will have to remove or edit your posts. Also when we moderate you please try and not take it personally we are only trying to ensure that the forum is a safe and happy environment to post in
3. When we moderate you we will try not post directly to you on the forum to warn you but we will send you a PM to inform you of what we moderated and why instead, as we feel this is the fairest way to moderate.
4. We operate on a "three strikes and you're out policy". That is to say, if you are warned by a member of the moderating team on three separate occasions about your behaviour or conduct on the forum then we will have no choice but to bar your membership.
5. In order to make moderating the forum a little easier there is something we would like to ask of you, please be respectful of each other. We are a discussion forum and diversity of opinion is strongly encouraged. If however we sometimes disagree with one another's opinions, then please don't resort to personal attacks. Instead we should appreciate other people's opinions even if they are different to our own and engage in debate which is civil and polite.
6. Also, if you find the content of another members post(s) to be objectionable or you believe that it breaks any of our rules, please PM a member of the moderation team and let them know rather than starting an argument in the middle of a topic.
