If Kate's parents actually pushed her hard then she'd have a stable job IMO. Not these make believe jobs work when she wants too If her parents pushed her so much to have a career as they are social climbing, I that Kate would have successfully conducted a hostile takeover of Microsoft and succeeded.

Your welcome. I just don't see why she keeps doing this to herself and publically. The public isn't falling for it and it's going to get nastier after the economy gets worse. Even if it gets better, people are still going to be acid towards someone who has completely ignored the situation and still plays when it's no longer cute.

in order to 'get rid' of the 'kate problem' they realize william has to do it for william to do it he has to see it as a problem and they have to appeal to his sense of duty and his need for calmness in his life
one of the biggest problems is that william is part of hte problem never mind all her faults - whcih are too many to list- his behavoiur-- whch changes based on what he perceives as a class issue which he was taught at a young age by his mother didn't matter - what he is forgetting is that in eVERY class theior are hanger oners and bastards you don't want around....
i wonder if HM thinks he has had such a rough ride as a child that he will getover this eventually
They have to learn to be cunning with him and make him beleive it was HIS idea to get rid of her
he is on and off like a >> sorry don't know what to write !

I wonder how she plans on running it. Will she put frosting on it? Maybe she'll take the initiative of putting food coloring in the mix. You never know!

James apparently knows what he's doing though? Didn't he take a cooking course?

I think Jimbo took the easy way out... he stopped school because he (I think) partied too much and it was too difficult for him. So he went straight to mommy and daddy "war bucks" and became the "head" of a company "he" started himself. I honestly don't think that him taking a cooking class makes one lick of a difference. I doubt he even cooks most of the cakes himself.

I am not ordering cakes from a guy who plays with dead squirrels.
Where did the squirrel end up, anyway?

DESPERATION! Kate knows that she is a laughing stock & she's trying her best; however, as a cynic, I simply don't believe it. I think she wants to prove that she is trying her best. I think her having a cake business is just another way for her to promote herself without doing all the work. Another propaganda to clean up her tattered image.

So again Kate is off doing yet ANOTHER job. She's obviously not working for mommy and daddy since the beginning of the year and now she's off on yet ANOTHER venture. I wonder if all this moving and shuffling has to do with the fact that HM is not and has not been buying the "Kate works for her parents" nonsense. I wonder if they've put out feelers to get an idea of what she's really up to while working for mom and dad, especially since HM was (and still is) concerned as to "what does she do?"
This seems like the same scramble from a couple years ago when she left Jigsaw and bounced from one reported opportunity to another with no results before landing at her parent's company. My guess is that the story of Kate trying to "endear" herself to the British people by doing more charity didn't go over well in BP. Shortly after that, BP and CH started releasing all those denials about Kate being near the RF or having anything to do with them over the holidays.
And since no engagement happened on Valentine's Day the Midds have fallen back to releasing reports that Kate is acutally doing something with her life, other than waiting around for William to propose.
BTW, I thought she didn't mind the Waitey Katey nickname since she and William had all but announced the date of their wedding. Now, suddenly, she's tired of the nickname.
