Dailymail:  Blow to Prince Charles over Commonwealth role
Quote
For nearly 60 years, it has been one of the Queen’s highlights of the royal calendar, the only occasion apart from Christmas Day when the sovereign broadcasts to all 54 nations of the Commonwealth and its two billion citizens.
But as she marks Commonwealth Day today by attending a special service at Westminster Abbey, a shadow is hanging over the celebrations — and at its heart are doubts over whether the Prince of Wales should succeed her as Head of the Commonwealth.

Another round of Charles bashing. Why do they do this? Professionally Charles is a perfect fit for the role.

I just don't understand why people keep ignoring his VAST experience in charity, diplomacy, and he's more informed than most politicians.

Because he betrayed the Queen of Hearts and married the Rottweiler.  That's a big enough reason for quite a few people out there.

I agree. He should be king.  It is not a popularity contest. He has the experience and it is the tradition.

I agree Lieblich.  If he can lie to his ex wife, sneak around and cheat on her then what will he do too his country.  Some people can not forget what he has done in the past and turn the other cheek and look away.   He's doing what is asked of him no more no less, he's a prince doing his job just like every other royal out their IMO.
