Better Kate than some poor 19/20-year-old.

Well the BBC are hinting that William is at least 5 years away from marriage. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7814430.stmThe present is sorted. For the next few years, their military careers will dominate their lives.
Both are about to undertake new challenges. William is poised to begin training to become an RAF search and rescue pilot.
But what will occupy them in five years' time?
In William's case, especially, it is highly likely that by then his focus will be on working as a full-time member of a royal family whose octogenarian head will have recently celebrated her Diamond Jubilee.
His office has been set up to plan for this eventuality. Rather like the bride whom he will one day escort down the aisle, William's household has something old and something new.

Good post Elise von Blah. I have a total feeling that that is what it is about for her and her whole grasping family. Hopefully William and his family are now beginning to see through them all. The Midds are only in it for the goodies and the glitter, and until this article appeared in the DM this morning I had a real foreboding about the future of the monarchy. There is no way KM would be good for it. Please William, wake up!

I am just embarrassed for her when I see new photos. She's creating an anti-fan base by her carelessness and her attention-seeking ways. William looking younger (new photos: no beard, glasses) is a good thing, IMO. He already looks older because he's aged a little past his years, plus his premature balding. So seeing him actually look his age is great. A lot of men grow beards because they can't accept that they're going bald. But for someone like William who looks slightly older (someone recently commented he has "old eyes"), that just made him look middle-aged like KM. I think the beard looked good, but not for someone his age. Maybe give him another 10 years and it'd be perfect.

Too bad, I liked the beard. The glasses are back too... he should keep wearing them.
I really don't care about Waity anymore, what PW does or doesn't do with her, it's all a big "whatever", as far as I'm concerned.
But the comments in the DM were fun!

The only jewelry it appears she is wearing is a bracelet. William's next three, four, five to seven years are pretty mapped out for him. He has protected himself against Kate pushing for an engagement, if he's not ready. He can always use the military as an excuse.

Why does the press think Kate would wear an engagement ring in public before the announcement was made? Honestly, Kate may have a degree but I don't think she has any common sense at all. However, I don't think even Kate is that stupid.
