My feelings about this are the same as I would for anyone drinking and driving.  Mike said not being able to drive would be inconvenient.  Sorry but I believe that is an inappropriate reaction considering the extreme harm or possible death he could cause to someone else.  Kudos to the judge who passed the consequences.

Does this mean he can't drive for 3 years or is his license taken away?? I'm American...don't know what the laws are over there although...I did drive while I was in UK again and smiled for all the cameras!! (I had an alert beeper to tell me when we were coming to them. )

What does happen in the UK if you get pulled over drunk?  Here in Kansas, it's a no win situation.  You either have to take a breath a lizer test or if you refuse it, you will go to jail.  Either way, if your drunk, you are going to jail for 3 days...no questions asked.  You just don't want to drink and drive here, they don't put up with it.  

We also charge $500.00 for no seat belt and speeding tickets are now 3 times as much as the norm.  Yea, you don't want to get pulled over here.  You'll be broke and maybe in jail.

that lots of fine..  My home in Washington State charge $124 dollar for no seat belt....

Thank goodness he is being punished I say. I was so worried he would get off with a tap on the wrist because he has connections in higher places...but the justice system has prevailed

I'm glad that Mike is accepting his responsibility, or rather his consequences of irresponsibility. Instead of just getting off the hook because he is in a relationship with the Queens granddaughter.
