http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20250784,00.htmlIn a first for the princes, they have agreed to take on a joint role at a charity that raises funds for schools in Uganda.
The Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund was named for a boy who died in a car crash in 2002 and whose family is very close to the House of Windsor.
Henry was a classmate at the Ludgrove prep school with Prince Harry, 24, while William, 26, is friends with Henry's older brother Tom.
The charity helps the school where Henry van Straubenzee was planning to work during a year off before university. Thanks to efforts by the princes and other friends, the organization has expanded to assist 11 schools in the African nation.
On Jan. 8, the princes will attend a reception to officially launch the charity and mark their patronage. way to go Prince's can't wait for pictures PA article/Princes help keep friend's memoryHenry was a promising Army officer recruit on a gap year before beginning his military career at Sandhurst when he was killed in a car accident in 2002 aged 18. William and Harry will join the van Straubenzee family at the launch event in west London on Thursday evening.

thank you for the pictures
well i have to say yes it was a nice gesture but honestly, i find it disheartning, this boy died and it is awful but he has a whole family to support him. What about all the ones who are left with absolutely no one or nothing
yes i understand they can't do this foreveryone, but i really don't think this is fair in the grand scheme of things
