As if the reason she isn't working is because she thinks employers will want to take advantage of her royal connections. Her royal connections have gotten her everywhere over the last five years. Thanks to these connections she's received a cut price Audi, free clothing, discounted vacation accommodations, invites to the most exclusive parties and clubs, and plenty of free publicity for her family's company. I think that this story is just the yearly rehash of "Kate has sooo many options but is tied down by William" stories. Every year there is some story of her being the "in demand" darling of the world. Every one wants to hire her, Vogue, Ford, Testino, even though she has no experience, talent or connections to anyone other than William.

I wonder though; maybe by leaking these stories, this is her attempt to get William to come back to her. Maybe they are "on a break" until further notice and she is trying to let him know how desired she is.

I think there are a lot of men out there who are incredibly intelligent but prefer air-headed women.  I have a cousin who is a medical doctor & you'd think that he would date women who have @ least an ounce of intelligence.  Oh no, he's with a crazy bimbo with an IQ of a surf board.  Enough said!

Sadly, this is true. My brother who is very bright, well-educated, kind-hearted, and attractive only dates helpless older women he has no intention of marrying!!! The family is beyond frustrated with this pattern. The woman are so pathetic, we swing between feeling sorry for them and feeling like they get what they deserve for staying with him. It is hard to watch, but these woman being so much older are so grateful to have a younger man and they cook for him, do anything for him, spoil him, etc. It is not healthy!
