   I am waiting for more leaks from the Middleton house(which I do think are coming, Pippa can't keep quiet for too long and Kate will show her face again) because I honestly think the relationship is not moving any further. I think it is over and someone in Kate's camp is trying to put out stories about glamorous jobs in NY to save face, that Pr. William is never going to marry her. This was done during the last breakup. I don't know what talks they had during Christmas and the New Year, but I feel that William made it clear he is NOT marrying her.

I feel the Middletons will leak at some point to save their family image. I don't see a wedding here at all!

It never fails to amaze me that it’s always somebody else’s fault that Kate can’t do this or can’t do that.  She can’t get a normal regular 9-5 job because of the press but she didn’t have problems when partying/clubbing.

Precisely! This chick is 27 years old and has yet to take responsibility for much of anything in her life. It really shows how immature she is.

I too wonder if this will be like the Testino thing, where the Midds build up stunning Kate's image only to have it crash down around them when Testino himself denied the entire thing. And I couldn't see Kate liking NY anyway, because no one would give a damn who she is - and we all know Kate lives for the limelight. (Unless she's so embarrassed about losing Wills that she doesn't want to be papped for once.)

I love everyone's posts!!!     This is the difference between this site & the "other site" in that one can actually learn something here without being addled by fairytales. 

I agree that Kate got dumped!!!     I think the Middleton's ship has finally runs its' course.  Not only that, their ship had sunk & therefore, they had to find another recourse on how best to handle without Kate being eaten by sharks, which in this case by the media/public!!  I think this relationship has been dead in the water for months & therefore, both houses (BRF/Middletons) had to compromise on how best to handle their situation without public mudslinging that would proved an embarrassment to PW/Kate.  PW made up his mind a long time ago & therefore, used the RAF as a way out of the sticky situation he placed himself in due to his dithering over Kate.

I can't help notice that Kate's family is putting it out there that Kate is stunning & fashionable & therefore NYC is a much preferable place for her.  It's as if they're saying that England does not have anything to offer when it comes to fashion.  Perhaps I'm reading way too much into this but the Middletons are grasping for straws!!!

I hope Kate doesn't come here in California.  Please no!!!! 

FYI:  I was on the "other forum" last night & read Karagiosis post (forgot the thread) & she wrote that PW/Kate's relationship has been over for months & that it's been known in their small circle of friends.

 It makes me really irrate that the press is even trying to connect Kate's lazy name to a high powered ,hardworking woman like Anna Wintour. I even read on one board how Anna really wants Kate for publicity, uh....please. The press is trying to compare Kate to the character Annie in the movie Devil Wears Prada, that girl had depth, was a hardworker and a writer, she was not some lazy wannabe, sitting around waiting. I hate that the press keeps trying to give Kate some importance in the business world that she does not have.

It is all so silly, the character Anne like the author of the books was a recent Vassar graduate and had ambitions to become a writer. The author who actually worked for Anna Wintour went on to write a bestselling novel and then sold the movie rights. Kate is nothing like the author or the character.

She needs to stay in England, grin and bear all the press PW and his new lady will receive, and go around the manor houses with Pippa until they both get marriage proposals and call it a day.

Forget NYC, forget making a name in fashion, its a lost cause. Kate and Pippa need to find the best husbands while they can, sooner rather than later, once this all comes out some ugly things are going to be said about those women and that family and NO ONE will want anything to do with them.

When I lived in NYC, many years ago I worked for Anna Wintor's husband and he was very, very powerful and successful.
