   I'm beginning to wonder just how "romantic" Prince William has been to Kate in all the that they've been together.  But on one hand, I don't want to blame Prince William because he did say (in the beginning) that he "like to have a go" with Kate.  That in itself indicated that he didn't have any intention beyond sex.  The fact that they lasted this long just merely showed that Kate provided his needs & was it you DWW (or qball) that said that Kate provided a comfort level to Prince William - similar to having "fuzzy sleepers."  (IMO) Due to his high public profile, he has to be extra cautious to not succumb to casual sex with any random girls.  Kate stuck around hoping that Prince William will fall in love with her & makes her a princess!!!  How sad but then again, she brought this on herself!!!

I agree with you both, DWW & Princess H, it's beyond sad!     But what I don't understand is that, Kate must have known where the wind has been blowing!  I mean she had to know that after 5 years without a proposal that the likelihood of her walking down the aisle is next to impossible.  (IMO) She has a better chance of getting hit by lightning than becoming a royal bride.  I know & I agree that it's sad but why did she play dumb & dumber!

I think in Kate's mind so long as she's bedding Wills and attending flashy events then there is a chance for a wedding. The public events mean nothing if privatly he has reservations or no plans to marry Kate at all. I think she will be looked at as a 'canary in the coal mine' for all ambitious young women who hope to bag Wills or even Harry should he & Chelsy not head to the altar.
